NYU Langone Medical Center NF Clinic is an affiliate NF Clinic of the Childrens Tumor Foundation (CTF) Neurofibromatosis Clinic Network. A multidisciplinary team of surgical and medical specialists who evaluates patients and develops management and treatment plans for each patient. Drug trials are being developed to find medication which may slow the growth of tumors, prevent new tumors from developing and shrink existing tumors.
NF2 is a complex medical disorder and patients should be under the care of surgeons and other medical professionals who are experienced in treating patients with NF2. Many members in the NYC NF2 Support Group see the medical specialists at NYU Langone Medical Center.
